Lis Wiehl was born on August 19, 1962 and was previously a Fox News legal analyst.
She is an adjunct professor at Law at New York Law School. Prior to that, she was an associate professor of Law University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual as well as National Public Radio. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File alongside Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight the Imus morning shows, and hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl is an Yakima native, who attended West Valley High School. She received her bachelor's degree in English from Barnard College, followed by an MA in literature at the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past of the US Attorney. She served as a legal correspondent to the NPR program All Things Considered. She was deputy chief investigating counsel for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. She taught law as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle where she managed the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 until 2001. The analyst was with Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
