Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. Her most well-known role is the anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. She previously co-anchored CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan is part of CNN's winning presidential election coverage for 2012. She has also served as a congressional correspondent based at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan's coverage of congressional events as well as events that occurred during her tenure as an official of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiation to increase the debt ceiling for the United States and deliberations by the super-committee. As a general assignment reporter she covered news such as the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and also the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. The reporter joined CNN Newsource in 2007.
